Colussi bakery, Squero, Valle San Leonardo
This old family business is going back to 1840 with the merit of having been the first bakery in Venice to have rediscovered the typical but almost forgotten Venetian pastries and cakes. Colussi is known for the Venetian focaccia, made following a recipe dating from the beginning of the last century

Squero San Trovaso is a characteristic old boatyard (squero) dating from the 17th century and located on the rio - or little canal - of San Trovaso. In a particularly picturesque position, it is one of the last traditional squeri still working in Venice used especially for repairing and building gondolas.
